I spent waaay too much money.
But I got lots of toys out of it.
And I got to see Davidface. (Who totally ran into people he knew COMPLETELY on accident [As opposed to Eva, who ran into people she knew sort of not on accident])
And lots of cool cosplayers.
but I am too lazy to put up pictures; so maybe never.
Came back from St Louis; sorta tired. Had lots of fun though ^_^ and pictures. I really wanna clean them up, but I don't have adobe right now :(.
Also, I walked a lot, got a sunburn....and....Oh, drank my weight in Fitz's cream soda and ate half a patty melt. I can't finish food ever. :( And climbed up and rode down a three-story slide ^_^
So Friday, David had to get his car (which I have taken the liberty of renaming Nighthawk [but I can't call it that because then he'll call it Elise just to spite me]) maintenenced, so Sean planned a daytrip to Santonio, which turned out really fun.
First, we dropped off the car at the Acura dealer, and then we went to Jims for breakfast/lunch/late late late lunch (it was already around 2). They had the CUTEST children's menus. I took two, kept one, and colored on the other. There was a punch out cow sippy-mask, so David has embarassing pictures of cow-Eva on his cellphone. But it was so cuuuute. I said Jim's looks like a day-one-fugitive restaurant, and it had good country-ish food. Greazy.
After Jim's, we saw G....gibsons? Which is supposed to be the best costume store in San Antonio. It was sorta uninviting, but neat. Lots of cool masks and makeups and stuffs. But we left after maybe 10 minutes, because it was really uninviting. REALLY. I felt like daggers in my back when I left. Kidding. No daggers.
After Gibsons, we went to the Quarry, which is this sorta mall-y shopping center place. It was neat. Spent a lot of time in the bookstore, because we are true nerds. Actually, I didn't really dork out, and we spent like an hour/ an hour and a half there. Then, we had to split quite quickly, because it was 4.30 ish. We went downtown, parked, and then walked around the the Alamo. The most hilarious thing happened, because we were following the signs pointing towards the Alamo and Matt found one and David found another and they were pointing in different directions and then it turns out we were right in front of the place. Eva went "Uh...*points*" and they all laughed.
Sadly, we got there like an hour too late and the Alamo was closed. So we snapped a few pictures, and then walked the riverwalk. It was sorta nice, but humid and a little warm. We didn't do any shopping, but it was pretty. It was getting late though, and the Acura people hadn't called, so we were worried. David called them (turns out they had the wrong number) and we made a mad dash to the dealer. Yay, everything was good. And uh...
Oh, then we went to Fajita Taco for dinner. Food was all right. And uh...then we drove home. The drive home was interesting because we got lost again (me and David) while Sean and Fernie and Matt got a speeding ticket for going 81~ish. Hush hush secret though, we were going about the same rate. A firebird even tried to race us, but was really friendly when we declined. And we saw an eclipse to impressive things. And we STILL beat car2 home. :D
It was lots of fun, and I'm glad Mommy let me stay an extra day, even though she probably doesn't know. Keep it hush hush!!
